Keynote Speeches

Let Josephine help your audiences have their own lightbulb moments.

In her speeches she can explain why sommeliers need psychological support to pass the world’s hardest exams, how we can learn from magicians to perform excellently, our brains can sometimes feel like they are out to get us and why it is highly intelligent perfectionists who often struggle the most.

In her speeches Josephine is able to draw upon her academic background (she has a Bachelors, three Masters degrees and a PhD) to utilise a strong evidence-base but also uses her work as a practicing sport psychologist to add the stories that bring the research to life. She can talk about the challenges that we all face when trying to perform at a high level. In her speeches Josephine is able to explain the neuroscience of the threat system with clarity, show the audience ways to soothe it and share the tools that exceptional performers have learnt in order to keep the threat system calm and performance unhindered. Using the BE BRAVE acronym audiences will leave with a clear route to handling their worries and being better able to perform under pressure.

Josephine’s talks can either focus on

How to Be Braver: Using Sport psychology tools to speed up success

Psychological Performance Enhancers: The mental tools the top athletes use to go faster or further and how you can adopt them in your own sphere.
